With our Blue Trail Project, we are liberating the depths and breathing life into the world!
With our #Maviİz project, launched to tackle the ghost nets hidden in the depths of our seas that silently threaten the ecosystem, we have once again taken action for a sustainable future.
As our Orzax CEO Yunus Emre Alimoğlu has stated, “On this journey we embarked upon 21 years ago with Omega-3, we believe that the source of health lies in nature, and particularly in the seas. Without protecting the seas, the food chain cannot be protected; without protecting the food chain, human health cannot be protected. Health does not begin in a capsule, but in the ecosystem; therefore, protecting the seas is the most fundamental investment in public health. As part of World Omega-3 Day on 3 March—a globally celebrated initiative we have steadfastly supported for three years and which has been embraced by companies in this sector—this year we are addressing the fight against ghost nets and the protection of marine biomass as a long-term sustainability approach. We will continue this journey with the same conviction and sense of responsibility in the years to come.
In this meaningful initiative we have launched for #3MarchWorldOmega3Day, ghost nets and waste meticulously retrieved from the seabed by expert divers have been given new life through the transformative power of art.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our valued partners who have supported us in this critical battle for the sustainability of the marine ecosystem and who share our vision: Marmara Adalar Municipality, Mr Ali Ercan Akpolat, Mayor of Adalar Municipality, the DenizTemiz Association/TURMEPA, and the Underwater Photographers and Filmmakers Association (SUFOD), and the Adalar Children’s and Youth Orchestra Chamber Music Ensemble.
We remain committed to emphasising the truth that a healthy future is only possible with a healthy ecosystem, and to leaving a ‘healthy footprint’ on our world.
