As Nuvita Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals Industry and Trade Inc., our Environment, Occupational Health and Safety policy reflects the utmost importance and respect we place on people—including employees, trainees, contractors and visitors—and on the environment. Within the scope of our activities and services, our primary objective is to provide a healthy and safe working environment for all our employees and relevant stakeholders, to implement all necessary measures to protect the environment, and to carry out continuous improvement activities; in line with our objectives, we aim to enhance our OHS and environmental performance across all our processes in accordance with relevant national and international legislation and regulations.
With this approach;
- Monitoring developments in the fields of the environment, occupational health and safety, complying with current legal provisions, and fulfilling obligations arising from contracts,
- Creating healthy and safe working conditions through a ‘zero workplace accidents and zero occupational diseases’ approach,
- Identifying and eliminating hazards, risks and near-miss incidents in the workplace,
- to take proactive measures by making the necessary plans for potential emergencies,
- Ensuring that employees are subject to health surveillance, taking into account the health and safety risks they may face at the workplace,
- Identifying the risks and environmental impacts of our activities, and minimising the environmental impact of our operations by promoting reduction, reuse and recycling,
- Ensuring that waste is generated as little as possible in order to protect the environment and prevent pollution,
- To strive to separate waste at source and ensure its recovery wherever possible,
- To develop methods to protect natural resources and undertake initiatives to ensure the efficient use of water and electricity,
- To raise awareness among all our employees and all individuals and companies we engage with regarding Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) issues,
- To continuously monitor risks and requirements and regularly update our Environmental and OHS processes,
- Maintaining a high standard of our environmental and occupational health and safety policy by organising training and activities aimed at enhancing our employees’ awareness of these issues,
- To ensure the participation of every level of the organisation and our stakeholders in efforts to improve Environmental, Health and Safety practices,
