Yellow Support Project

Orzax’s Yellow Support Project, which stands out as a symbolic and functional support initiative on 2 November, World Vitamin D Day, is a symbolic and functional support initiative launched in response to the widespread prevalence of vitamin D deficiency across society. The project not only draws attention to bone health and the immune system but also addresses needs in the field of education.

Yellow Support: The Project Bringing the Sun’s Light to Society

Launched in 2022, the Yellow Support project draws attention to vitamin D deficiency whilst shedding light on a different area of social responsibility each year.

As Orzax, we took the first step of our project, launched in 2022 to raise awareness of vitamin D deficiency, at Darülaceze. As part of the project, we came together with the residents of Darülaceze to organise enjoyable activities with our elderly and children.

On 2 November, World Vitamin D Day, Orzax joined forces with the Eastern Paediatrics Association to meet with children affected by the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş for fun-filled activities, explaining to their families the vital importance of vitamin D.

As Orzax, we took our “Yellow Support” project—which we launched on 2 November, World Vitamin D Day—to Sarıyer this time, building a playground for our children inspired by the energy of the sun. Through this park, realised in collaboration with Sarıyer Municipality, we provided children with a healthy and safe play area whilst continuing to raise awareness of Vitamin D deficiency.

As Orzax, as part of our “Yellow Support” project, we have this time brightened up school walls, bringing energy and joy to our children’s learning environments. Whilst continuing to raise awareness of Vitamin D deficiency, we have made our schools more enjoyable through the healing power of art, standing by our children, who are our future.
  • The first year began with activities that brought joy to both children and adults at Darülaceze.
  • In the second year, it brought hope to children affected by the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş.
  • In the third year, a children’s park in Sarıyer was renovated, creating a space full of play.
  • In the fourth year, the project moved into the education sector with the renovation of Fahrettin Aslan Secondary School.
