The 4th International Red Crescent Short Film Festival, performed December 2-5, ended with the award ceremony, of which Orzaks Pharmaceutical is one of the sponsors. On the night when the movie “Death Locked Out”, directed by Amirr Karami, received the Best Film Award; Orzaks Pharmaceutical Chairman of the Board of Directors Pharmacist Selman Alimoğlu presented the world-famous Iranian director Majid Majidi with the festival guest of honor award.
The 4th International Red Crescent Short Film Festival, which screened 58 films from 19 countries sponsored by Orzaks Pharmaceutical, ended with the award night. At the festival, where 448 films from 50 countries applied, “Death Locked Out” won the Best Film Award with 19 nominations.
Orzaks Pharmaceutical Chairman of the Board of Directors, Pharmacist Selman Alimoğlu, presented the festival guest of honor award to Majid Majidi, who was the first Iranian director to be nominated for an Oscar within the scope of the festival.
At the award night, Orzaks Pharmaceutical’s; Expressing that he always supports the cultural efforts of his pharmacist colleagues, who are also the festival presidents, Alimoğlu said that they will always continue to provide the necessary attention and support to artists and festivals for the development of Turkish cinema. Mecidi, on the other hand, conveyed her special thanks to Selman Alimoğlu and Orzaks Pharmaceutical for the contributions of such friendly institutions and cinema-friendly directors at the festival that grew with friendship.
Selman Alimoğlu, who is also the festival president, stated that she always supports the cultural efforts of her pharmacist colleagues and that they will always continue to support artists and festivals in the development of Turkish cinema.
Majid Majidi, on the other hand, conveyed his special thanks to Orzaks Pharmaceutical, under the leadership of Selman Alimoğlu, for the contributions of such friendly institutions and cinema-friendly directors.
